I added a new section to the left info bar. My queue of DVDs to watch. I seem to sense an overwhelming amount of anime. It's kind of funny because I always had a kind of fleeting interest in it, but since I got my DVD player it's like I've gotten completely sucked into it. I'm continuously amazed about all the different things that are available.
Many people seem to group all anime into one catagory. The more I watch, the more I find that there are just so many different styles of shows. There's the typical big robot stuff (I'm watching Gundam Wing right now), there's the cutesy stuff (mmm Cardcaptor Sakura), the strange stuff (serial experiments: lain), and then there's things like Battle Atheletes Victory (which is a kind of sports series). It's nice to see it getting more recognition through things like Cartoon Network.
Speaking of toon network. They just announced recently that they are going to be showing Cowboy Bebop during their upcoming new timeblock called "Adult Swim". The timeblock will be for shows that are for an older age group and it will be on later at night. Pretty keen.
