So last night I was talking to my friend Lukas and he was saying that he got a 40 Gig disk for quite cheap. So this got me thinking. I want a way I can store mp3s, mixes, divx movies someplace. I could use an internal drive, but if I ever get rid of the system I have to go through the hassle of pulling it out. So then i started thinking about external disk. A 40 Gig external firewire drive would just rule. It would be a good deal of space. It could easily be moved between machines. I can imagine just tossing it in my bag if I wanted to transfer some data to a friend's Mac.
Hmmm, now I wonder how much drive enclosures that do IDE-Firewire are.
