House Music 101
I'm on a mailing list for ravers who have been around a while (in other words, old). One thing I absolutely love about it is that there are people on the list who have been around forever. They aren't just 'old skool', they were there when the 'skool' was just being built. Here is a history of House music from one such individual. What I like about it is that it doesn't just talk about the music. It talks about the people involved with the music, the communities the music was entwined with. It is one person's journey through life and music. And I find myself always looking forward to every new chapter.
