Things that make me smile
I've been DJing for a few years now, and in that time I've put out a few CDs. The other day an acquaintance of mine IM'd me with something that just made my day (week, and month) (screen name changed to protect the innocent :)):
mt: hey! quick note no time to chat, but...
mt: the other night i was biking from an tua nua and i asked blake if he had a good, fast cd i could borrow for the ride home, and he lent me your 'spring' cd
mt: which completely saved me, as it made me bike oh so fast, gave me much inspiration....
mt: i enjoyed it soo much that i actually biked from beacon street home to JP, and then thought "i am not done yet...hmm, where shall i go?" (listening to the CD all the while of course ;-) so decided to bike to the mass ave bridge, and then around here and there, and i made it home at 4 am, so i wanted to say 'thanks' for providing me with such a good cd, i am listening to it today as well...(i think i catually have a copy of 'spring' however i am weird with cds, a lot of times i am not into it initially but then the next time i check it out i think "hey why haven't i listened to this before?!?!?!" so anyways thx a bunch, hasta luego....:-)
