Central Park Media

Central Park Media has a few recent announcements of things coming out in the near future. The ones that jumped out at me specificly were:

  • Alien 9 will be all on one DVD
  • Animation Runner Kuromi looks to be one episode per disc, with just the first one listed (runtime 40 minutes)
  • Iczer 3 is planned for a winter 2003 release as a part of the Authentic Anime line, which means no dub

Woo, I so can't wait for Alien 9 to come out on DVD. And sometime around May I think the manga is due. Woo!

for Alien 9, i believe CPM is trying to do an almost simultaneous release of both the manga (the first GN at least) and the anime. too bad the 3rd GN still won't come out till some time after the dvd, cause OVA 4, woo-ee! evil tearjerking heartwrenching ciffhanger ;_; after i finished the anime i immediately went online and ordered the manga.

i really hope Alien 9 does well so that CPM will liscence more of the mangaka's work, especially the manga sequal to Alien 9 he is currently working on in japan.
