And last but not least, Getbackers. I started watching again based on the recommendation of a friend. And I have to admit I'm actually pretty much enjoying it. It's an interesting mix of action and fun stuff, complete with a character who slips into chibi mode way too often.
That's it for now, and I'll try and write more often in the future.
I posted about The Anime Network a few months ago. At that point in time it was only available in the Philly area. I just looked at what On Demand (the video on demand service that Comcast uses) and noticed that I have access to it. I'll probably try ordering something to watch tomorrow, but I'm a little concerned about the cost. From what I read on Comcast's site it will cost me around $3/program to watch. $3 for 30 minutes is a bit steep. I can rent an anime DVD for around that and keep it for a few days. Why can't they just include it in one of the cable packages along with On Demand? The next thing to find out if they offer subtitled versions of the shows.
I just got done watching the first episode of Princess Tutu. It was very cute, and very odd. It's about this girl, Ahiru, who is learning to be a ballet dancer. And it is a magical girl show. She's about to turn into Princess Tutu. Beyond that, it's just strange. The above line in the title is the one Ahiru's ballet teacher says. He happens to be a cat. Er, well, a humanoid cat. I'm not quite sure what to think about it all, but I feel compelled to watch more and more.
