I watched the first episode of the new OVA a while back and for some reason it didn't really hook me that much. The animation style had changed a little bit and it just seemed a little off. But I just watched the second and am warming to the series a bit more. It's a bit over the top, as Tenchi does tend to be, but I still love the characters. I just wish it was coming out faster.

Hey yeah Tenchi muyo is great and all, however does anyone know where i can fin the thrid movie maybe as s torrent or anywhere else i can dload it at, and also ver important does anyone know where i cand dload Ronin Warriors from!!!????!?! ive been tryin so hard to get them pls and thankyou

The first ep was clearly a "yes, we've been gone for a decade, and there were those other shows with the same name, so let's recap the TRUE storyline!" extravaganza. The second ep seems to be throwing us (headlong) into whatever the plot-like-thing will be. It's the standard Tenchi OAV formula, after all: First two or three eps, introduce new women to the mix. Then, have two or three eps of actual plot. Then, a single episode of denouement.
It does seem to be a bit more over-the-top than before, and I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. As with most shows, I suspect it'll be decided by how well it ends.

the characters in this new show just don't have the charm or personality of the original characters. It just feels so bland and plain compared to the original. I just couldn't get into it like i could the original.
