{"id":1306,"date":"2002-05-15T21:00:47","date_gmt":"2002-05-15T21:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ezoons.com\/?p=1306"},"modified":"2002-05-15T21:00:47","modified_gmt":"2002-05-15T21:00:47","slug":"anime_update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ezoons.com\/?p=1306","title":{"rendered":"Anime Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>I&#8217;ve been watching what feels like an insane amount of fansubbed anime lately.&nbsp; So I thought I&#8217;d post a bit of a recap for those of you who are interested (descriptions of the shows are linked with the titles).<\/P><\/p>\n<p \/><UL><\/p>\n<p \/><LI><\/p>\n<p \/><DIV style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.animenfo.com\/anime.php?id=866\">Ai Yori Aoshi<\/A> &#8211; Only the first four episodes of this have been fansubbed already (and I think only about 6 have been broadcasted).&nbsp; The interaction between Aoi and Kaoru is quite well done.&nbsp; I&#8217;m also finding Aoi to be quite an interesting character.&nbsp; On one hand she appears fairly meek, yet I think she&#8217;s actually a fairly strong character.&nbsp; She&#8217;s taken the most risks and in some ways has the most to lose.<\/DIV><\/LI><\/p>\n<p \/><LI><\/p>\n<p \/><DIV style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.animenfo.com\/anime.php?id=716\">Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar<\/A> &#8211; An horribly cute show about a young girl who meets up with an apprentice snow fairy named Sugar.&nbsp; The show is very cute, but not unbearably so. I&#8217;ve only seen three episodes of this, so I&#8217;m still not quite sure where it is going.<\/DIV><\/LI><\/p>\n<p \/><LI><\/p>\n<p \/><DIV style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.animenfo.com\/anime.php?id=770\">Onegai Teacher<\/A> &#8211; I think almost every teenage boy must dream of having a teacher fall in love with them.&nbsp; This one has a couple of twists on that in that the teacher is also an alien from another planet.&nbsp; While I wasn&#8217;t too sure what I thought about the show at first I&#8217;m finding that I like it more as time goes on.&nbsp; I think it has done a fairly good job at avoiding a lot of the obvious types of plots one might expect.<\/DIV><\/LI><\/UL><\/p>\n<p \/><P style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\">I&#8217;ll follow up in a day or two with some of what I&#8217;m watching on DVD these days.<\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been watching what feels like an insane amount of fansubbed anime lately.&nbsp; So I thought I&#8217;d post a bit of a recap for those of you who are interested (descriptions of the shows are linked with the titles).
