It’s official.<\/p>\n
I am now active again on the transplant list. I actually feel a little stunned about the whole thing again. I’m not quite at the hands shaking level, but I think I am just still way nervous about the whole thing. Hopefully in a day or so I’ll settle back down. I feel like I’m in the home stretch of a race and there is no looking back.<\/p>\n
I’ve already decided that if I’m anywhere near a computer when this happens that one of the first things I’ll do is quickly make an entry here so that people know I’ve gone in. I’m hoping that once I get through surgery and out of intensive care I’ll be able to use my computer and start making some updates about how my recovery going. Plus I figure that will help keep me sane. I expect that I’ll be in the hospital for around three weeks. Basicly, once you are recovered enough to do things you basicly go into recovery mode, where you are exercising, learning about the medications you’ll be taking, and basicly learning how to live your life with this new lung in you. From the looks of it I’ll be kept quite busy.<\/p>\n
