So I know some of the people who stop by here have fairly popular blogs. So I have a question for those folks out there. Do you often get really weird random IMs or emails from people. I had this guy IM me yesterday and tell me to do a search for this weird string that just happened to have the word ‘ezoons’ in it. It looked like it had something to do with hacked sites or something like that. I was like “uh, so?” and he’d logged off already.<\/p>\n
Oh, on a related note, and a few people have asked me where ezoons comes from. Well. I’ve had the nickname snooze<\/EM> for ages. Since end of high school at least. Part of me likes to think I was the first person going by ‘snooze’ on the net back in ’86. It’s early enough in the days of the net that it is possible, but sometimes it is so hard to tell. I know that for the longest time I could always get snooze as a login to things. Now it is much harder to do that. Which brings me to ezoons. When I finally got around to getting a personal domain name I had the hardest time figuring out what to do. I really wanted ‘snooze.com’ but it was taken (I think it was by some bedding company). So, in the end I just decided to turn it around to ezoons and it was available. So that’s it! I keep wanting to make www.ezoons.com into some kind of joke company page, but I haven’t quite figured out what to do with it yet. I need to come up with just what an ezoon is.
