The initial goal is to have custom feeds of news based on topic. So, I have a few feeds that I use right now in NetNewsWire. One issue that’s sitting in the back of my mind right now is that some of these feeds are huge. I currently have them set to only work give the news the past 24 hours in the feed, but even then it’s a few hundred articles in the course of a day. For users of things like Radio, this could be complete overload. One solution I thought of was only including the last n stories and have that be a value people can set. Lots of interesting things to think about here. Oh, and if anyone wants to test this out, drop me a line and I’ll get you set up to use it (warning, it is more than a bit kludgy at this point).
