I liked it.  I didn&#8217;t like it as much as I have some of Mamet&#8217;s other stuff (like The Spanish Prisoner), but I still thought it was quite good.  Gene Hackman was quite good in it.  The movie itself was kind of slow paced, but I think it worked quite well.
