So I watch DVDs all the time through Netflix. Most of the time I watch stuff and move on, but every once in a while there’s a movie that really catches my eye. The first one that did that was The Manchurian Candidate. I went out the very next day and bought a copy of it. The next one to do it for me looks like it will be The Spanish Prisoner. I just got done watching it and loved it. It’s quite an interesting film. It was written and directed by David Mamet, who I think is amazing. So, I think tomorrow I’m going to see if I can hunt down a copy of it. Wow.

I was reminded of one my favorite stores tonight when talking online. The Construction Site has tons of cool building toys. Things like Legos, Lincoln Logs, and then all kinds of funky ones from other countries. Every time I go in there I want to spend lots of money.

It seems like Saturdays have become CD buying days for me. When I wake up, I wander down to Au Bon Pain to have coffee and a coissant while watching people in Harvard Square. Then after sitting there and reading for a bit I head over to Newbury Comics where I almost always end up buying at least one CD. Today I picked up a nice variety. I got Big Audio Dynamite – Planet BAD Greatest Hits, Richie Hawton – DE9: Closer to the Edit, and Curve – Gift. I’m psyched about the Curve one because they’re a favorite of mine. I was HOPING to find other stuff by Big Audio Dynamite, but that is all they had.

So, after two days of being up around 130-135, my pulserate has finally come back down to the low 90s. I can feel the difference, it’s amazing. I think the thing that finally did it was going to lunch with a friend of mine from work. I was just able to get away from things and breath for a bit. It’s nice not being as jumpy. It was exhausting.

Aquaman scares me.

So tonight I had dinner with my cousins Jessica and Jennifer. Up until recently I hadn’t seem them in ages. There is just something really cool about having relatives who are close in age to me to hang out with. We went to the Phoenix Landing, which is one of my favorite places to just hang out and have a drink. Jess got there a bit late, but did finally make it.
It felt good to unwind some. I’m still majorly stressed out, but at least I feel happy.
