It’s always fun to abuse Microsoft
I think it is because they just make it too easy. Chris Pirillo posted a list of WIndows XP error codes that are hysterical. My favorite one is 003.

    [Naked Drycleaners]
I’ve seen this sign a few times and never had my camera with me to record it. I decided last night that I just had to get a picture. Not only do I think it’s got a great name, I think the sign looks quite cool. (And (un?)fortunately there don’t seem to be naked people working there).

The store is also next to the Judy Jetson Hair Salon, but I didn’t get a good picture of that one. But every time I drive by I expect to see someone walking out with Jetsons hair.

    Life’s an Adventure
I lurk over on the forums of this online comedy site and tonight a bunch of folks from it are heading out to a bar in my area. I’m thinking I may show up just to meet some new people. I’ve got one person on the forum I tend to email with now and then, so I’d at least kindofsortof know one person there. I haven’t met new people from online in so long.

    More thoughts on Radio
Now that the interface that mirrors posts to sites that support the Blogger API is working I want to figure out how to tweak radio so that is the primary blog it posts to and the mirroring is for my radio site.

I figure there’s a lot of different options for me here that I haven’t looked into. Maybe I could have it so that I use the radio interface for everything, but at posting time can determine where it goes. Then, if it goes to my blogger site it sill ping weblogs.com for that site. If it goes to my radio weblog it will ping for that.

Of course I haven’t even looked into doing any programming in Radio yet, so I don’t even know if this is possible.

    Testing 1..2..3
Hopefully this will show up on my blogger site also. The one downside is that it’ll only ping for here.

    On this day…
In 1919, the Great Molasses Flood occured in Boston, MA. 21 people were killed and 150 people were injured. Here’s more information on it. I wonder if this caused major ant problems in the city.

    I want a nap
Some companies have nap rooms. I wish the place I work for did. I could so do with a nap right about now.

    New camera test
    [Records]
Last night I was up by New Hampshire having dinner with my friend Threnody and decided to take the plunge to get a new digital camera. Since I was by New Hampshire we were able to go to the Best Buy that was right over the border so that I could avoid paying sales tax. I ended up getting the Sony DSC-P50. In the end it came down to being between that and a Nikon Coolpix 775. The big tie breaker was the size. The Nikon is small in comparison. As some of you who know me well know, I have a problem with things that are ‘too small’. I know myself too well. I lose things that are too small. That’s why I don’t have a tiny cell phone.
    [Plant]
So here are some of my first efforts at using my camera. It already feels a little different from my old camera. The first one is where I store all my records. It used to be configured differently, but this setup makes more sense. It also gives me a little shelf space to put the books and DVDs that are currently in my queue. The second is of a plant I’m trying to kill rescue. This plant has been through a lot. I hadn’t watered it in like three weeks and thought it was dead, but it’s still all green and stuff so I started watering it and it’s being all happy again. I want to get more plants for my apartment because it just feels like it needs more life. Though I was almost thinking of getting something fake so that I didn’t have to worry about watering it. Anyone have any good suggestions on indoor plants that I can’t kill (even if I try?)

    Mirror Mirror on the wall
I saw this site yesterday thanks to Nari. The Mirror Project is a site of people taking pictures of themselves in anything reflective.

My favorite is the one done in the backside of an iMac.

    Darkness
It’s 7am and it is quite dark out. I’m confused because for some reason I thought it was lighter then this at 7am. Maybe it’s just really overcast out or something but it just looks kinda creepy.

I’m going to try and take a bunch of pictures today and show a whole bunch of things from my day. We’ll see how that goes. We also may have a tad bit of downtime as I move the box the website is on.
