A bit of change
Tonight when I was out I stopped by Urban Outfitters and picked up this new cover for my futon and some pillows to go with it. I’m psyched because I like the look of it and I think it adds something to the room. I want to start doing some redecorating sometime soon, starting with rearranging how I have my records. Hopefully when I am done I can show some cool pictures of the whole thing.

On an unrelated note, I’ve been bouncing back and forth into OS 9 to get pictures again for the site, because I think having the images adds a lot to the feel of the site.

First test of the New Year
This one comes from Becky’s blog. It’s the IPIP-NEO personality inventory. It’s an interesting quiz that scores you in the areas of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to new experiences. I’m still not quite sure what I think of the results, but as usual with these personality tests it does provide food for thought.

Moments of NYE
Just to show that I’m not the only one who will spend time stuck in front of a laptop screen during a party. Here’s a picture of my friend Jeff at his NYE party. It was quite cool. The other great thing about the party was I got to see some folks I hadn’t seen before. One of them was the third member of the Transcasts crew, Joe. I hadn’t seen him since he moved to New York a year or so ago.
Next we have a picture of right after the stroke of midnight at Hartley. Everyone had crowded into the room and the song that was on just went into a breakdown, the timing was perfect. Both parties were so much fun. I wish I could have spent the whole night at each one.

As far as things like resolutions go, I’m currently not making any solid ones. Just kind of a general sense of improving my health overall in the coming months, and focusing on getting better after my transplant. I think that will be more then enough to keep me busy for quite a while. 🙂

Ego Surfing Blues
Back when I got my domain name, ezoons.com, I got it because snooze.com was taken. So just recently I got a few IMs from this guy who was accusing me of being a hacker and spamming him and stuff like that. I decided to search on google for ezoons and it seems that there is some guy out there who goes by ezoons who is known for hacking web pages and stuff. Oh well, if anyone was wondering, it isn’t me.

Macross
I just got the boxed set of this that I ordered months ago. It finally got released right around christmas and took a while to get to me. I’ll be psyched to check it out when I get home and see how it is different from what was released here as Robotech. In other DVD news I’ve been going through and cleaning out the DVDs that I’m not as interested in anymore and will probably try and sell a few online or give them away to friends who are interested in them.

Bah
I got into work today to discover that for some reason I can’t get into my machine at home. I’m not sure if it is my router box there or if I maybe got renumbered after I left for work this morning. Oh well, I didn’t need to get any email today anyways.

Back to work
I’m about to head out the door and back to work after a bit of a vacation. I don’t wanna go. I was enjoying my time off too much, which probably means I need another week of vacation.

New Years Recap
Once again quite a night. There’s something about parties at Hartley that are just quite special. Beginning of the night was spent at my friend Jeff’s place enjoying some good food and company. Then around 11 I zoomed off to Hartley. Lots of people I hadn’t seen in ages were there, including my friend Amy who had moved to San Fran earlier this year.

Was at Hartley till 6 this morning. Spun two different sets (the second was so much much better then the first, at least in my opinion). Got to watch some random drunk guy who somehow found the party be obnoxious and get asked to leave. (I still don’t see how someone can stumble across a party and feel that it is acceptable to just go into a strangers house and harass people there).

All and all a great night. Then I went to sleep and had dreams that I had Spider Man powers. It was quite cool.

Happy New Year
I just got in, I can barely keep my eyes open. It’s time to crawl into bed and sleep finally. When I get up I’ll post a picture or two and talk about the grand experience that was my new years.
