A friend of mine pointed me at this cool article on new methods being studied to prevent organ rejection. Very cool from the looks of it. This could mean good things for me in the future.

Ftp madness

I’ve started having this blog sit on my main website since I can now reliably post via ftp. There still won’t be much real content here for a little bit. I need to figure out exactly the way to convert my primary blog into Radio. I’ve been doing some tests on a single category and it doesn’t look like it will be too hard, though there are still some things I haven’t fully worked out.

Scripting News: One more thing before signing off for the day. Weblogs.Com will probably grow quite a bit next week because the Blogger Pro users are coming online. All kinds of new sites to explore. Incredible cooperation between two competitors. Every day I feel more and more like we’re building a new layer on the Internet.

Heck, I’m a blogger user who’s been pinging weblogs.com for quite a while, thanks to the handy dandy client I use for posting to blogger.

Original Spam Solution
I stumbled upon this very cool page about how someone canned the spam. It was good for a few giggles.

Weird iTunes/iPod/Firewire Drive Thing
So I tried moving all my music to my new Firewire drive. It worked great, with one exception: I couldn’t sync with my iPod anymore. It just wouldn’t work right. I’m going to try some more experimenting tomorrow, but it works fine when going off the internal drive. How frickin annoying.

On my own
It’s days like this that I really realize my limits. I got it in my head this morning that I wanted to get some shelves from Crate & Barrel. The thing is, I haven’t been able to find anyone to help me with them. So I’m considering just going to the store and seeing if they will help me get them into the car, then I can worry about getting them into the house when I get home (I want to get two of them, since they are stackable). I guess I may just be too impatient for my own good.

I started up a new category ‘Gregory’s Radio Tips & Tricks’. There’s a lot of stuff out there about Radio that isn’t necessarily well documented or obvious. This is a place for me to post about things I’ve learned.
