Okay, this is kind of cool

Fashion goes hi-tech. This could be quite cool.  You could always be wired.

    One of those days

Today feels like it is going to be one of those days.  I’ve been at work already and I’m already feeling stressed.  Once again, some of our code is crapping out.  I’m more likely to blame our code then anything else.  I hate doing that, but given the past history of things sometimes I jump to that conclusion.

I also know that I’ll probably be a little tired by the time I get home tonight because it was one of those early days.  I went to sleep early so that I could make it to pulmonary rehab.  And this time I actually made it!  I always do feel better after going though, so I am glad.

Tom Robbins. “Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.”

    Life without net

Last night around 9:30 AT&T in my area partially dropped off the net.  It was weird because I could still get to their nameservers, and their mail servers (I had mail coming in), but I couldn’t get outside of whatever network area that was.  It was pretty annoying.  I’m back now.

    Gentlemen, Start your Lomos

I’m psyched. I picked up some Fuji 100 speed film on my way home (supposedly one of the optimum films to use for the Lomo). And I snapped a few pictures while I was walking through the Mall I was in, this time very aware of the ‘click-click’ of the shutter. I feel excited about my camera again and plan on taking a few rolls fairly quickly to get a feel for using it again.

    Cold Again

My office is MUCH too cold these days.  Everything is fine till about two in the afternoon, at which point the temperature drops.  It’s really annoying because suddenly I’m sitting there shivering.  My fingers are even cold. I think about putting on my gloves while I sit here typing away.

I’m considering a small side project here at work.  Something to do an intranet that will let various groups work on their own sections of the intranet.  But first there needs to be some kind of framework that holds it all together.

I learned from Anime.  It’s sad but true. I’ve become too much of an anime addict.  Quick, someone save me!

    Wooo Hooo indeed!

John Robb posts: Wooo hooo.  Netflix now has an east coast distribution facility in MA (Worcester).  That shaves 4 days off of the turn around on my movies!  Funny, that they didn’t announce it to members.

It’s about time.  This has been one of my biggest complaints about Netflix in the past.  I would rent stuff and it would take at least a week to get something back, while friends of mine who lived out west would have things back within days.  Big bonus points to Netflix for giving their product more value to me.
