Crap
So I think I lost my pager last night. I need to talk to Bree and see if it fell out in her car last night on the way back from the party last night. If it’s not there I need to call the club to see if they found it. I know for sure I had it there. One thing I hate about pagers is they have this annoying knack of popping off.

Ouch…But a good ouch
Ow. I hurt a little this morning. I was up way too late last night. I drank a bit more then I should have. So now I’m feeling a bit slow and think I need some coffee to pull myself back to reality. Last night was really fun though. My friend Bree was throwing a party for her sister’s birthday. I got to see some people I hadn’t in ages. Jeeell, Benny, Susan, Ida, and Marilyn were there (and Bree of course). It kind of made me realize how much of a hermit I’ve been lately. I need to strike some kind of balance between taking it easy and still having fun. Today, a nice leisurely day of hanging in Harvard Sq doing some shopping and then seeing who’s around to hang out.

From Jumpy to Grumpy
So I’m finally a bit rested after not sleeping well last night. Now I have to go back into work and pester Dell to help me fix the raid array we couldn’t get working last night. They had me get some log files from the raid card we have and send them to us and I haven’t heard anything since. Also, the other machine that is up keeps falling over for some reason. I need a vacation, badly.

Feeling jumpy
So last night, at around 3am or so my cell phone rang. It was from an unavailable number. My first thought was, “oh shit. This is it.” I ran for the phone and by the time I got to it whoever was calling had hung up. I was a bit grumpy and grabbed my phone and transplant pager and crawled back into bed waiting for a page or something. But nothing ever came. So I guess it wasn’t that.

Free at last
So I finally got out of work. The computer I was trying to fix is still screwed up. We’ve been on the phone with tech support forever it seems. We seem to have a pretty messed up raid array or something. It looks like I’ll probably have to go back in tomorrow.

Life in a cold placeSo

Life in a cold place
So I’m stuck in our cage at Exodus right now. I hate it when I have to be go there. It’s cold. Really cold. And if you are there for more then an hour or two you just start feeling sick. In my case that means I cough even more then usual. The one good thing is I have my laptop with me. I’m just wishing I’d brought along some movies to watch.

A chill in the air
MMMM. Last night it got nice and chilly here in Boston. It was a good chilly. That kind of chilly that is just perfect to sleep in (as long as you’ve got a nice comforter or blankie). I didn’t want to crawl out of bed at all this morning. Ahhh, I love fall. I think it is one of my favorite seasons. It gets cool, but usually not TOO cold. The leaves get all nice colors. It is just about as close to perfect as you can get.

Not too bad
So I have to admit that I wasn’t really expecting much from the new Star Trek show. After watching the first episode I was pleasantly suprised. It’ll be in my TiVo for at least a few weeks.
